Part 4 - NSW & ACT

On the 14 of May, 2018 we arrived in NSW, Deniliquin. When we arrived at Deniliquin in the late afternoon Dad pointed out that they had a water-park and a pool. After setting up the caravan, me and Chloe went to the water-park. After going down the slide a few times I went into the pool and before I could stop myself to feel the water I fell in. The water in the pool, as I was trying to swim out, felt as if it was BEYOND frozen. As I was getting out I swore I could of fainted and all I got from it is my sister laughing her head off! When my sister and I got back, still half frozen, we ate dinner and got dressed for bed. In the morning I woke up at about ten, and ate breakfast. We all set up the caravan for the road and drove to CANBERRA!( The Australian Capital Territory).  As we were driving into Canberra we passed the Parliament House which is where Malcom Turnbull works (which you already know).

The next day we got up and went to this cool place called Quest-a-Con ( the national science and technology center). Which is basically a giant building with about 5-6 levels of science and tech. Inside, we got to see a robot sing "if i had a heart'' from The Wizard of Oz, what your eyes look like up close, sound frequency making water move and splash all over the place. There was also a room all about natural disasters  and every few minutes ( inside a giant cage ) a giant volt of lightning created by a giant processor/machine. My favorite thing to do at Quest-a-Con was play air hockey with a robot. The only bad thing about it was that it won against me every time. After visiting the Quest-a-Con we drove to the Royal Australian Mint which is where the Australian coins are made. We also got to see how they were made and got to see all of the old designs ( including the penny). As we were leaving I got a coin made with a tree on it. The next day we packed up and left for Batemans Bay,NSW.

Arriving at Batemans Bay, we setted up the caravan and watched the sunset go down. The next day I went down to the beach and made a sandcastle and a few dogs came over. Later, after finishing an hours work of homework we went for a bike ride around the city. As the sun went down I went back to the beach with mum dad and Chloe and there were dogs EVERYWHERE for about half an hour we were chasing dogs and there was this giant one who looked like a giant fluffy snowball. In the morning we packed up the caravan and I saw a Snorlax on Poke'mon Go.

The next day we left for Sussex Inlet and arriving into the park we passed a few pelicans in the water. After setting up we bought some bait from the shop and tried to catch some fish. After half an hour the only thing we caught was a tiny puffer fish. Chloe made a friend while we were fishing and so we went to their cabin to pick her up was. We ended up staying a bit longer than we intended. As mum was talking to her parents I went and played tug of war with their two dogs. After dinner we watched Britain's Got Talent and went to sleep.

In the morning I went to look around the park and I found a cage with birds in it.I asked the owner if I could pat them and she said it was OK. The birds I patted were yellow all over but the second one had a pink head. After patting the birds I went to see if  the rabbits ate the carrots I put out. Nearly every carrot was eaten accept one.

We took a drive that morning to Bendalong Bay a 25 minute drive to feed the stingrays, and we bought pilchards and hand fed them in the crystal clear water. Luckily we stayed away when there barbs got near us. I also got to touch one and it felt soft and slimy. After Bendalong we went to Hyams Beach and on the beach was beautiful white sand where I built a I/2 meter sand castle into the air and on our way to the next beach we saw dolphins in the ocean while having ice cream at Huskisson Beach.

Next day we stayed at Shell Harbour and on the way we passed more great beaches,
Kiama Blowhole and Thirroul. At Thirroul we stopped at a house which was Eli's (one of my school friends) We got stuck with our caravan on their one way street so the neighbours came out and helped us. Elis old neighbours said they used to babysit him and his older brother and sister Kyle and Emily.

The next day we drove into Sydney which is the capital of NSW and is busy all year round.
As we arrive in Sydney we accidentally take a wrong turn and get caught up in traffic.. Which is NOT suitable for a caravan. In the end we make it back and instead of driving over the Sydney Harbor Bridge we somehow end up driving under it. For dinner we went out too see one of Mum's friends Jenn from Canada who was visiting Australia for work and we talked about what its like having bears in the summertime and waking up to snow in the winter.

In the morning mum and I made eggs on toast for dad since it was Dad's Birthday. After Breakfast, Dad unwrapped his presents and the one that was from all of us was a drone( DJI Spark ). After the celebration we go out for a walk over the Sydney Harbor Bridge (not under) and we saw the Opera House over it. After that we took a bus too Bondi Beach (a famous Australian T.V show and a popular attraction in Sydney ) and the waves there nearly knocked me out. After visiting Bondi we had a milkshake from Boost Juice. After another train to a place for Dad to get a massage and as we were walking up the stairs in the building we saw Mark Bouris ( A MULTI MILLIONAIRE! ) who is the star of a show called The Mentor ( on channel 7 ). After that mum was regretting not getting a photo with him.

In the afternoon the next day we went to Madam Tuesades Wax Museum and saw President Obama and Albert Einstein. The only thing that creeped me out was that the hair on the wax people was actual real hair! After that we went to the Sea Life which was right next to the Madam Tuesades and we saw dugongs which are close to extinction.. After dinner Chloe and mum went to a concert that was being held in Sydney and me and dad went and saw Deadpool 2.

In the late Afternoon we arrived at Seal Rocks accompanied by some friends called Ryan and Jodi and there son and daughter Coby and Asha. We also rented a house for the weekend so there was more space. After dinner we had a cake to celebrate birthday and we watched a movie. In the morning me and dad found out how to get his drone working and he flew it over someones house. And the drone is really LOUD after breakfast we went out to Elizabeth Beach and surfed until the late afternoon with dad. After that mum went shopping and Chloe and Coby helped bury me into the ground and then they put a towel over me so I couldn't be seen. The next day we said our farewells to all of the family and headed off to Crescent Head.

At Crescent Head, after setting up and taking awesome drone shots we basically Surfed all day on the Ocean and after two days we packed up and left for Wooli which sounds like Woolies (Woolworths a store in Darwin).

After setting up and looking around at Wooli in the late afternoon. I went looking around and realized it was actually a pretty small place for a caravan park. In the morning just after the sun came up we went canoeing and in the middle of the lake i jumped in and it was freezing! after doing a bit of homework on the computer ( What your reading now ). We went to the pub for dinner and mum tried to win a raffle.

In the morning as we were driving Nobbys Beach (Gold Coast ) we passed the border at 18431 so we've traveled 9979K since Darwin
